Bryan Ferry 

The legendary frontman of experimental English new-wave outfit Roxy Music, Bryan Ferry has a catalogue longer than the fringe that still dangles over his sleepy eyes. Expect some solid gold hits including Slave To Love, Lets Stick Together, Love Is The Drug and personal favourite If There Is Something.


The Knife 

Scandinavian duo The Knife are everybodys cult favourite indie-pop acts. Creepy and weird as hell, the siblings released their newest album Shaking The Habitual last year and support support it with nothing less than an elation-inspiring, electro live feast... 



Hot on the heels of The Knife, if their distorted guitar and heavy drums weren’t psychedelic enough then this experimental group from Sweden plays their shows wearing voodoo masks and trippy garb. Be sure to tune in and drop out with GOAT.



Yeah yeah, we know... cliche as but who gives a fuck. Outkast are REUNITING to play Coachella! The festival is renowned for being the stomping ground for comebacks. The much anticipated reunion of Andre 3000 and Big Boi will have you saying Hey Ya

Jagwar Ma

The Beach Boys meets 2014. This band teleports you to a space odyssey you didn’t even know existed. They have been on a tear lately after the release of Howlin, their highly anticipated debut EP. With a progressive dream-like psychedelic rock feel, they bring a uniqueness that separates them from all their other contemporaries.



This highly anticipated set is a must see. These three sisters give a fresh example of what good soft rock from the 80’s has inspired today. With the release of their debut last September, they have been ripping through the states with some amazing live performances under their belt.


Minimal grooves and good vibes from this Bosnian animal. Feeling a little funk in the desert on Friday night? Solomun will keep you satisfied. Fresh blend of minimalist inspired beats will be a must see following the highly anticipated Nicholas Jaar set.


The Cult 

Forget the headliner MUSE on this night... their sound was paved the way by British rockers The Cult were born out of the ashes of the 80s post-punk scene. Infusing innovative possibilities into the world of indie music they evolved to become one of the most influential and controversial bands of our era.


Ty Segall

San Francisco rock prodigy Segall is a one-man machine at pumping out his audio bliss garage recordings! Combining the best elements of metal, punk and psych with his live band it aint no folk or dance outfit - theyre a loud, gnarly screaming emotional group that is not to be missed.



You may already be familiar with Nico Jaar’s deep house sounds and he brings the same level of creativity to the DARKSIDE project. Thumping bass kicks, intimate vocals, grooving guitar riffs and a mesmerising light-show are going to resonate with the lucky Coachella audience.


Future Islands

You will be groovin to this band - rhythmic bass against burning synths. These dynamic Baltimore indie-rockers released their new album Singles last week preceding their Saturday performance at the festival. The established group has worked with each other for nearly a decade, along with this heavy hitting album they just dropped they look to be well on their way to being one of the more epic performances at the festival.


Pet Shop Boys

Anyone nostalgic for 80s electronica will get their fill during this set. The Pet Shop Boys are gods of synth pop and they will make you dance your tits off! With the release of their album Electric last summer, they are back to prove to us not only that they can still hang with the young pups today but that they can show us all what the 80’s really sounded like.


Syd Arthur

These lords hailing from Britain boast a heavy mix of progressive rock combined with psychedelic soul. The quartet, whose name was inspired by Herman Hesse’s novel Siddharta hail from the English town of Canterbury – a place known for its distinctive footprint in progressive rock. These guys live shows are unreal so don’t miss their early set at 12:45 in the Outdoor Theatre!


Washed Out

You may remember (or at least have heard) the banger “Feel It All Around” the Georgia native released 5 years ago and now he’s back at it again with a new album titled Paracosm which presents a dreamlike disco surely to resonate on stage this weekend. Catch him before the sunset acts start to heat up!


Neutral Milk Hotel

Having vanished soon after delighting music lovers across the globe, 15 years later Jeff Magnum and co have reunited to bring the booming voiced folk manifesto to life. Expect the beloved In The Aeroplane Over The Sea and the rest pointing a something bigger and more beautiful than you could have ever imagined... 



Having pulled a no-show for the Soundwave concerts downunder, we are still beyond thrilled to see Lemmy Kilmisters merry band of misfits back in action. The UK metal mainstays have their frontman healthy after suffering from an irregular heartbeat and will thrash classic cuts from Ace of Spades like no tomorrow...


Chance the Rapper

If Outkasts Friday night headlining set is a reminder of where hip-hop was willing to go 15 years ago, Chance The Rapper will demonstrate where its willing to go today. The 23 year old Chicagoan recorded his first mixtape, 10 Day, when he was on suspension from school; his second, Acid Rap shot him to the spotlight with colabs including James Blake. Lets see where the beacon leads him next!


Blood Orange

You may know Dev Hynes from his former work in Test Icicles or as Lightspeed Champion. The stylish Brit has a new alter-ego: Blood Orange that has caught the worlds attention. The jack of all trades will be performing his silky soft-focus funk-pop with a full band including saxophonist and guest rappers.  


Little Dragon

A band on the verge of greatness. With some of the most highly anticipated albums coming out right now, Little Dragon does not hold back. They are a genuine and raw dance band – a groove they fall right into with ease. A new school level of quality in their deceivingly straightforward tones. With the band very deservingly letting loose right at sunset, this could be a performance people will remember for a very long time.

Art Department

These Crosstown Rebels will be ripping Sunday avo and are a must see. Art Department is the brainchild of Canadian techno/house legend Kenny Glasgow and Canada’s fastest rising star and No. 19 label owner Jonny White. The sound draws from simple drum patterns and synth lines, with a dash of reverb, drifting along as Kenny Glasgow’s voice plays on. Their live shows maintain a sublime balance of modern minimalism downright dirty disco.
