Afends stepped onto the runway for their debut appearance at AAFW 2022 as part of Afterpay's Future of Fashion show.
Afterpay Australian Fashion Week 2022 was an exciting milestone for the team here at Afends, marking our debut appearance on the runway. We were stoked to be part of Afterpay's Future of Fashion show, and walk alongside the stacked line-up of Australia's leading designers boasting the likes of P.E. Nation, Manning Cartell, Anna Quan, Cue, BLANCA, Rachel Gilbert, Oroton, Bondi Born, ESSE, Salt Murphy, Effie Kats and Kimbralou.
The event took place at the multi-arts precinct Carriageworks and showcased an innovative performance fusing technology with fashion and entertainment and admirably celebrated diversity, inclusivity and accessibility on the runway. Our models stepped out wearing best-selling styles from current season men's and women's new arrivals alongside sneak peeks of future ranges to keep an eye out for - all paired with our favourite footwear: Crocs.
