WHEN HEAVEN MELTS: AFENDS X BAYLEY KK
The latest artist series for Create Not Destroy [VOL 4] in collaboration with Bayley KK focuses on the connection between heaven and earth.
Hailing from Melbourne Australia, the 21-year-old artist seeks to bring out a subject's higher self by accentuating the inner beauty and energy that is inside all of us. Her artwork explores feelings of nostalgia and the dream world, which translates into gentle reminders for the future.
Born out of lockdown, Bayley’s debut capsule experiments with warm sunset hues and abstract artwork to paint the picture of what heaven would look like if it melted. She hopes that her work is a kind balance of gentle mixed with darkness and how this can be brought to life visually, as meaningful moments in time.
